Yin Yoga is a meditative form of yoga that focuses on connective tissues, rather than muscles, to ease tension and tightness in the body. We can use the poses to investigate and enliven our bodies by stretching and compressing in ways that counteract modern living.This practice is a perfect preparation for meditation. Each session will begin and end with a short meditation and will include a short sound bath. 

Dates: February 19 – March 11, April 8 -29, May 6 – 27, June 3 – 24

This class will offer a well-rounded practice of yoga including asanas, pranayama, and meditation. It is suitable for all, including those new or returning to yoga, and those with physical challenges. Slow pace, detailed instruction and opportunities to ask questions.

Drop-in Classes:

Centerpeace Yoga & Wellness
–Mondays, 5:30 – 6:30pm, Gentle / Moderate
Ongoing exploration of self care, strength and self understanding. Tailored to the needs of the individual students in class, this practice will delve into gentle movements and breath work meant to increase flexibility, and promote incremental cultivation of basic strength and stamina. Join us for this soothing, meditative practice suitable for both beginners and for experienced yogis looking to nurture the body, hone awareness, and deepen their focus.

–Fridays, 12:00 – 12:45pm, Lunch Express
This Express class is the perfect practice for those that have a tight schedule! 45 minutes of stretching, strengthening and centering to help you stay fit and focused throughout the rest of your busy day! Cost is $8.
